NAVAIDS is an Australian company that deals almost exclusively with GPS ( Global Positioning System ). We sell and hire Recreation GPS units and Survey grade Differential GPS ( DGPS ) receivers. Recreation GPS receivers are from Garmin and Magellan. Survey grade DGPS units are from Thales Navigation and Differential Beacon receivers are from CSI Wireless.

Navaid is short for Navigation Aid, a term used widely in the Maritime and Aviation Industries. The premier electronic navaid today is the GPS receiver, which is now a common utility used for a diverse range of applications. Navaids provide consultants for projects that require accurate GPS surveys and we have worked with many Mining and Engineering companies both in Australia and internationally.
