Stonex S70G handheld RTK and PPK receiver

The Stonex S70G is Handheld RTK tablet that is dual frequency and uses 4 Satellite constellations (GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BeiDou) to acheive 2cm accuracy in your hand. The installed CubeA survey software that is preloaded on to the 8-inch tablet has great functionality whilst being extremely easy to use. It will let you load drawings and images for your background map and to collect precise positions and other data such as photos in the field. The tablet's operating system is Android 9 and can be used for many other applications such as sending emails, making a phone call or watching a video.

S70G can to work in real time through the reception of RTK corrections transmitted by a network of GNSS Reference Stations. It can also record the raw data received from the satellites for post processing (PPK) in the office. This allows the operator to achieve greater precision and to be able to work even in areas where there is no Mobile phone coverage, or the signal is poor.

It is supplied with an antenna that connects directly with the 8" Tablet to give position accuracy of 2cm. It can also be connected to a survey GNSS antenna setup on a 2m survey pole ito improve the position accuracy to 1cm when in RTK mode and 5mm when using the PPK method.

ATLAS is an exclusive PPP technology that provides real-time, centimetre-level positions. The PPP (Precise point positioning) is a positioning technique that removes or models GNSS system errors to provide a high level of position accuracy from a single receiver. Once the corrections are calculated, they are delivered to the end user via satellite through an L-Band signal.

There is no need for a RTK base station or a RTK network. The Atlas L-Band correction data is continuously transmitted via a communication satellite to deliver global coverage. Click here for Atlas subscription costs.
